A short film that deals with the self-silencing that occurs in the aftermath of a traumatic assault.
“Most giving is 80% emotion and 20 % rational. And the best way to get to someone’s emotions is to tell a story.”

The film industry has changed so much over the last decade with independent filmmakers and emerging artists stepping up to tell their stories, their way. I love it! This new wave of ambitious artists and storytellers has given us a diverse array of actors, writers, directors, and producers. Most importantly it has opened the mind of audiences and inspired us all to dare to tell our stories.
With that said, I wanted to take a moment to highlight my dearest friend Phyllis Bancroft. She’s an incredible, talented, and brilliant artist. We met at an Actors fund event years ago. The event was all about how to refine and define our teaching cirriculms. We later would take a class together about marketing our brand.
Soon after our initial meeting, Phyllis invited me to join her women’s group. She and a very small group of women get together about once a quarter to gather and declare our wins and ask for help in areas that need improvement or where a goal had been set. I joined her group at one of my lowest points and declared that things in my life will change. And boy did they!
As a director, producer, and writer, Phyllis has made it a personal mission to tell female narratives that inspire and provoke thoughts of change and elevation. Her latest project, …With Salt, is in direct alignment with Phyllis’ mission and therefore is a story that would do well to be told!
Could someone survive inside a transporter buffer for 75 years? Fate. It protects fools, little children, and ships named “Enterprise.”
